What does it look like?
Once a week in person parent and child learning days: 10-20 families, with children of the same age, meet for education, socialization, activities, outdoor play, access to resources, and community. Pick up homeschool curriculum materials for the week.
Bring home four days of pre planned and packaged age appropriate activities that are adaptable to your child’s levels and fun, with curriculum and supplies needed.

What does an example week of curriculum and monthly events look like?
Example Week: Get To Know You Week! August 17-21, Ages 2-4
Weekly Goals: Students will practice learning and identifying facts about themselves and others. Students will work on the letters in their names, the word ‘favorite’ and how to pick favorite things, and practice important information about themselves like their age, birthdays, and more. Students will practice meeting and getting to know new people.

Parents are encouraged to take these activities/learning experiences as far as their student is capable. They should feel free to adapt, change, redirect, focus on, or elaborate whenever they feel directed to do so! Focus on fun, exploration, and engagement.
Example Field Trip: Snow Day Field Trip (group field trip to the snow with activities and curriculum provided)
Example Playdate: Toddler Paint and Sip (toddlers rock painting in the park with healthy toddler beverages provided!)
Example Event: Makers Market Swap Event (each member makes a bundle of homemade items, while every member 'shops' and leaves with a free item from each other!)
Monthly Activity Examples: Use sticks to make the letters of your name, go to the grocery store and find 3 red foods, write a list of birthday gifts you'd like.
Once weekly in person meet ups and occasional events occur at Loose Fences Ranch in the 'schoolhouse' and outdoor area. Maximum outdoor time is encouraged. The small ranch in located in Happy Valley in Anderson, CA and offers learning facilities, a play area, livestock, and seasonal water, wildlife, and gardens.
Where is it located?

Ages 2-5: $200/month, 10 months ($2,000/year)

Ages 6-18: $300/month, 10 months, ($3,000/year)

Months are prorated for holiday breaks. Costs vary from $100-$200/month for 2-5 and $150-$300/month for 6+. The yearly cost is totaled as seen above.

Upon enrollment, you recieve a welcome activity. After sign up, this summer you recieve a tote bag, fridge magnet and two wall posters!
How much does it cost?
The homeschool group has curriculum for ages 2 through 18, but operates in a cohort system, so children are able to complete their whole schooling with the same group of peers. The 2026-2027 school year is currently enrolling ages 2 through 4 ONLY. Tiered curriculum is used to accomodate the varying age range. Check back for the 2027-2028 school year. Possible options for other ages available upon request.
What ages can enroll?
Enrollment is open from May-June 30th.
Summer registration day and material pick up is in July 27th.
School begins August 17th and ends June 11th.
Breaks are as follows: 11/23-11/27, 12/21-1/1, 4/5-9.
